At the National Aviation Conference 2023 in Hamburg, Deutsche Aircraft, in cooperation with the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI) and the German government, presented the D328 turboprop flying test bed in its new, distinctive Uplift livery. The D328®, an integral part of many regional airline fleets, is now also a pioneer for alternative propulsion technologies for a more environmentally friendly aviation future.

The Uplift programme exemplifies the shared vision of the future of aviation and the industry's collaboration towards the aviation paradigm of climate-neutral flying. The Uplift D328 aircraft will become a major beacon of innovation, reflecting the commitment to environmental protection and ground-breaking advances in the aviation sector.

Chancellor Olaf Scholz met the management of Deutsche Aircraft, the Federal Minister of Economics and Climate Action, Dr. Robert Habeck, Dr.Volker Wissing, Federal Minister of Digital and Transport, Dr. Anna Christmann, the Federal Government Coordinator for German Aerospace Policy, Prof. Dr.-Ing. This year's National Aviation Conference is about aviation's journey towards climate neutrality. The D328 Uplift will serve as a catalyst for research into alternative propulsion systems and help the industry find environmentally friendly solutions for aviation. Furthermore, the aircraft's versatility and efficiency are a perfect match for the Uplift initiative.
