AIT/Nova-Tech Engineering chosen for fuselage sections handling and positioning, as well as aircraft transportation, for Deutsche Aircraft D328eco™ Final Assembly Line

During the AIRCRAFT Supplier Summit, Deutsche Aircraft welcomed a new supplier. Advanced Integration Technology/Nova-Tech Engineering (AIT/NTE) has been selected to support the Final Assembly Line with Fuselage Sections Handling and Positioning, as well as Aircraft Transport and Positioning.

With this new deal, AIT/Nova-Tech Engineering will support the Final Assembly Line at Leipzig/Halle airport, where the 40-seater D328eco™ regional turboprop will be built. AIT/Nova-Tech is one of the largest providers of aerospace automation, mechanisation, and tooling. As Deutsche Aircraft builds the factory of the future with innovative manufacturing capabilities, it is essential to collaborate with the industry leader in constructing well-integrated automation production processes.

Experts in aerospace tooling and the aerostructures industry's most experienced designer, manufacturer, and integrator of automated conveyance, positioning, and joining systems, AIT/NTE, is serving as Deutsche Aircraft's industrialization partner for the D328eco™. Utilizing its engineering core competency and vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities AIT/NTE is providing flexible and reliable equipment and tooling for Deutsche Aircraft's Leipzig production facility.
