Appointments
BOMBARDIER
On October 19, 2020, Bombardier Aviation announced the following key leadership appointments at its Biggin Hill service facility in London, effective immediately:
- Greg Hoggett appointed General Manager of the Biggin Hill Service Centre.
- Corey Trudgen appointed to support the expansion project as well as other growth opportunities of Bombardier’s worldwide services network.
CHAPMAN FREEBORN GROUP
On October 6, 2020, Global aircraft charter specialist Chapman Freeborn, part of the Avia Solutions Group, appointed long-serving Russi Batliwala as its new Chairman.
Eric Erbacher, who was the Director, Charter Services and ACMI, Cargolux Airlines has replaced Russi Batliwala as the CEO.
HINDUSTAN AERONAUTICS LIMITED
On October 1, 2020, S. Anbuvelan took over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Helicopter Complex of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). Prior to this appointment, he was heading the Helicopter Division of HAL as the Executive Director.
NORTHROP GRUMMAN
On October 13, 2020, Northrop Grumman Corporation announced that its Board of Directors had elected Tom Jones Corporate Vice President and President, Aeronautics Systems, effective January 1, 2021. Jones will succeed Janis Pamiljans, who has announced his intent to retire on February 26, 2021.
